Signing of MoU to Foster Innovation, Skill Development, and Practical Scientific Learning

Such a milestone was achieved on 19th August 2025, when Agrivet Research & Advisory Private Limited and JIS University came together to formalize a strategic partnership through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU).
The MoU was signed by Dr. Sayantani Sihi, Chief Scientific Officer, Agrivet Research & Advisory, and Dr. Avik Acharya Chowdhury, Head, Department of Biosciences, JIS University, in the presence of Dr. Suparna Ghosh, Assistant Professor, Department of Biosciences, JIS University. The partnership reflects a common vision to bridge the gap between theoretical education and real-world application, ensuring students and researchers gain exposure to contemporary scientific practices and industry expectations.
Turning Collaboration into Action
A formal Memorandum of Understanding was signed between Agrivet Research & Advisory and JIS University, establishing a framework for joint research, training programs, and entrepreneurial opportunities for emerging scientific professionals.
A two-day intensive workshop on Mastering Molecular and Biochemical Techniques provided students with immersive laboratory exposure, allowing them to apply theoretical concepts through real experiments and guided scientific exploration.
Participants engaged in modern laboratory techniques, interacted with industry professionals, and gained practical insights into molecular and biochemical workflows. Each participant received a certificate of participation.
